Parents: Parents are at large the cause of teen depression. some of these parents expect their children to become what they never were, pushing the child to unfathomable depths.
Relatives: There are crazy relatives who sexually abuse and torment children. Parents may force children to visit such relatives.
Peer pressure: Some teens feel like they have to fit in a certain group. With this, the teen engages in whatever ways the group engages in. With time, the teen sees how miserable things have turned and hate themselves!
Unfulfilled dreams: Teens with unfulfilled dreams and unanswered prayers tend to lose hope in living. This makes one wake up with a mind set that \"nothing is going to work today.\" It eats you from within and you sink!
Loveless families: If teens sense that they do not receive love from their family or any close relatives, they cut off that relationship and find love elsewhere. This makes you see what a monster you are to hate your family and one is, if in this situation, so depressed!
Anxiety: Anxious teens are most likely to suffer from paranoia attacks and when teens are paranoid, they tend to have constant flashes of mistrust. This makes them really withdrawn.
Reality check: Between mature adult and teenager, there is a period of about 20-25 years. This period is filled with hard truths and reality checks. A teen can find out that they have been depressed for a long time! They are also afraid of what may come.
